August 17, 2022. Razumkov Centre and the Ukrainian Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom conducted an online panel "Strategy for overcoming the socio-economic and humanitarian crisis caused by the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine". Razumkov Centre prepared for discussion an analytical report "Socio-economic consequences of the Russian aggression for Ukrainian society", which was presented at the event.
The paper focuses on changes in the well-being of Ukrainian citizens as a result of the Russian aggression, the dynamics of the labour force supply and demand structure, measures to promote employment and support the poor during and after the war, and analysis of the state policy tools and the efficiency of governmental steps intended to overcome the consequences of the humanitarian crisis that resulted from the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The study was carried out with support of the Ukrainian Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
Before the start of the analytical report presentation, the welcoming speech was made by: Solomiia Kubrysh, Project Coordinator of the Ukrainian Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, and Vasyl Yurchyshyn, Director of Economic Programmes of the Razumkov Centre.
The main conclusions based on the results of the research were presented by the Project manager Olga Pyshchulina, Leading Expert of Social and Gender Programmes of the Razumkov Centre and Kateryna Markevych, Leading Expert of Economic and Social Programmes of the Razumkov Centre.
The panel took place online. Representatives of the government, civil society, think-tanks and donor organisations were invited to take part.
