On September 12 the Razumkov Centre hosted a regular professional discussion “Results, Prospects and Directions of Convergence (Rapprochement) of the EU Countries. Opportunities for Ukraine” to analyse the current state and immediate prospects of socio-economic convergence of the post-socialist EU countries, as well as the tasks and directions of economic policy aimed at strengthening and accelerating convergence of Ukraine as a future EU member with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
The professional discussion was preceded by the presentation of an analytical publication featuring the positions of domestic experts and their assessments of convergence in the EU in general and CEE countries in particular, as well as Ukraine’s current and future place in these processes.
The expert discussion was held on the Razumkov Centre’s Zoom platform.
The event was broadcast live on the Razumkov Centre's YouTube channel.
The event was conducted by Razumkov Centre as part of its project implemented under the USAID/ENGAGE activity, which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact.
