On April 23, 2026, Razumkov Centre's co-director of foreign policy and international security programmes M. Pashkov took part in the expert discussion "How to ensure implementation of European target indicators in the field of law enforcement agencies". The event was organized by the Ukrainian Centre for European Policy with support from the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation as part of the joint initiative "Joining the EU Together".
During the event, a draft plan for implementation of interim target indicators in the field of law enforcement reform, provided for in negotiating chapter 24 "Justice, Freedom and Security", was presented. This chapter is an important component of the "Fundamental Reforms" cluster, which is of key importance and determines the overall dynamics of the negotiation process.
The event was attended by representatives of the authorities, non-governmental think tanks and independent experts. The progress and lines for improving the activities of law enforcement agencies were discussed in the context of Ukraine's movement towards the EU and implementation of relevant reforms envisaged by the first cluster.
