The war in Ukraine, the deep social split in the US, China's obvious claim to the role of at least one of the world centres (poles) of power, and at the same time less noticeable but no less important, complex social processes in many European countries witness the birth of the new trends that will shape the general lines and the thrust of the world development.
Maybe for the first time since World War II manifestations of national and political egoism, primarily by US leaders, have challenged the concept of Euro-Atlanticism, which for decades united the Western world, creating a system of ties and interdependencies based, at least declaratively, on the common values of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law.
