On 28 November 2018 the Conference "The State of Ukraine's Energy Sector", jointly organised by the Razumkov Centre and the Atlantic Council, took place in in Washington, D.C. It was dedicated to Ukraine's role in the global energy processes.
Key speakers included Ambassador Richard Morningstar, Founding Director and Chairman of the Global Energy Centre at the Atlantic Council; Dr Edward Chow, Senior Associate at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies; Dr Anders Åslund and Dr Ariel Cohen, the leading experts of the Eurasia Centre at the Atlantic Council; and Melinda Haring, editor of Ukraine Alert, the Atlantic Council.
The Razumkov Centre was represented by Volodymyr Omelchenko, the Director of Energy Programmes, as well as by the Centre's leading experts — Svitlana Chekunova, Victor Logatskyi and Maksym Bielawski, who presented the study “The Role and Place of Ukraine’s Energy Sector in Global Energy Processes”.
