On December 11, 2023, Razumkov Centre research fellow on legal issues P. Stetsiuk took part in the international scientific conference "The Principle of Respect for Human Dignity in the Conditions of Armed Aggression."
The event was organized by the Department of Constitutional Law of the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
The conference was attended by human rights champions Oleksandra Matviychuk (head of the NGO Centre for Civil Liberties, the Nobel Peace Prize winner) and Liudmyla Huseinova (director of communications of the NGO "SEMA Ukraine"), judges of the Supreme Court, retired judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, legal scholars from Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, as well as students and postgraduates of the Institute of Law of KNU named after T. Shevchenko.
Focusing on the problems of working out the constitutional and legal institute of "human dignity" in Ukraine, Razumkov Centre research fellow on legal issues P. Stetsiuk drew the attention of the conference participants to the need for its improvement with account of modern European trends in constitutional development.
