The director of energy and infrastructure programmes V. Omelchenko participated in the NEURC meeting that took place on November 13, 2024. It considered, among other items, the issue of approval of the draft resolution of NEURC "On setting the tariff for electric energy transmission services of the NEC UKRENERGO for 2025".
Speaking at the meeting, V. Omelchenko supported the electricity transmission tariff proposed by the Regulator in the amount of UAH 665.26 per 1 MWh (less VAT), reasoning that that such a tariff was deficit-free. It should give creditors an important signal to resume cooperation with Ukrenergo, which was suspended due to the company’s non-payment for "green" bonds on November 9. As a result, the NEURC meeting approved the draft resolution.
The meeting was attended by the NEURC members, people's deputies, heads of industrial enterprises and experts in the branch.
