Online conference "Role and place of Ukraine in the future European and Euro-Atlantic security systems"

At 10.00–12.30 on November 18, 2022 (Friday), Razumkov Centre held a Zoom conference "Role and place of Ukraine in the future European and Euro-Atlantic security systems."

Russia's war against Ukraine changed the world, speeding up the crisis trends in the system of international relations that was formed after the Cold War. Russia's aggressive neo-imperialist policy caused tectonic shifts in the perceptions of security and inflicted incredible damage to the international system of security and stability guarantees, highlighted the inefficiency of the existing crisis-prevention and management mechanisms. The following issues were discussed during the conference:

  • Main trends in the post-war world and the place of international security structures in it.
  • Main trends in NATO and the EU.
  • Options of war end and Russia’s future.
  • Security guarantees for Ukraine.
  • Main tasks for Ukraine, based on the lessons of the war.

The conference was held within the framework of the project of the same name, implemented by Razumkov Centre with support from Hanns Seidel Stiftung Office in Ukraine

The policy paper of Razumkov Centre "Role and place of Ukraine in the future European and Euro-Atlantic security systems" was presented at the conference.


Working languages: Ukrainian, English, with simultaneous translation.
