On March 14, the Faculty of Law of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted a guest lecture-workshop by the Razumkov Centre's research fellow on legal issues, retired judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Petro Stetsiuk "The State and Prospects of Ensuring the Irreversibility of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic Trajectory".
Future lawyers were offered an analysis of the constitutional changes of 2019 regarding Ukraine's strategic trajectory towards full membership in the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as well as the foreign practice of constitutional regulation of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The lecturer paid special attention to the problems of implementing constitutional provisions on the irreversibility of the European and Euro-Atlantic trajectory of the state under martial law, in particular, preserving democracy in the country, and the peculiarities of organizing future national and local elections.
The lecture was given to 3rd-year students of the University's Law Faculty as part of the academic course "Introduction to the EU Law" at the invitation of the course leader, Prof. Mykhailo Mykiyevych (Head of the Department of European Law of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv).
