On July 27, 2023, the Green Recovery of Ukraine Forum was held, in which Razumkov Centre infrastructure programmes director V. Omelchenko took part.
The forum focused on the development of renewable energy and alternative fuels in the context of the recovery and transformation of Ukraine's energy industry. It brought together experts, industrial managers, representatives of government agencies and other concerned parties who discussed the most urgent issues and challenges related to the transition to "green" energy in Ukraine. In total, about 80 participants took part in this event.
The Forum was organized by the Energy Club.
The forum included three panel discussions:
- Potential and real prospects of renewable energy development in Ukraine.
- Building a sustainable energy system: the role of Energy Storage in the future of Ukraine.
- Development of biofuel production in Ukraine: Prospects of biomethane, bioethanol and biodiesel. Energy independence and decarbonization in transportation.
