On May 28, 2025, Razumkov Centre is holding a round table "Mechanisms of Political Education of War Veterans as a Way to Enhance the Democratic Resilience of Ukraine", as part of a project implemented with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Office Ukraine.
The project aims to develop a basic curriculum of political education courses for war veterans, which could be used by regional centres for political education of veterans, educational institutions and concerned public organizations to develop their own courses and programmes.
The curriculum was developed with account of the relevant foreign experience, the needs of different categories of war veterans and the legislation of Ukraine.
Issues for discussion:
- tasks of political education of veterans;
- content, forms and methods of political education of veterans;
- participants of political education of veterans.
Representatives of the state authorities, local governments, specialized higher education institutions and public organizations, war veterans, experts in the field of civic and political education are invited to take part in the discussion.
The event will be held on May 28, 2020, at 12:00–14:00, in a mixed (personal/online) mode at the Press Centre of the "UKRINFORM" National Information Agency (Kyiv, Bohdana Khmelnytskoho St., 8/16).
The event will be transmitted on Razumkov Centre's YouTube channel.
