ANNOUNCEMENT. Expert discussion: "Ukraine’s Security Guarantees: a Prerequisite for Lasting Peace or an Obstacle to Ending the War?"

June 24, 2026 at 14:00–15:30 (Kyiv time) The Razumkov Center is holding an expert online discussion: “Ukraine’s Security Guarantees: a Prerequisite for Lasting Peace or an Obstacle to Ending the War?”. During the event, the Analytical Report prepared by the Razumkov Centre as part of this project will be presented. State officials, scientists, Ukrainian and foreign experts and diplomats are invited to take part in the discussion.

Questions for discussion:

  • External security guarantees: forms, weight and caveats
  • The need for security guarantees for Ukraine: historical background
  • The importance of international guarantees in view of the specific course and prospects of conflict settlement
  • Key components, principal actors and possible configurations of a security guarantee framework for Ukraine

The discussion will be held on the Zoom platform of the Razumkov Center from 14:00 to 15:30, Kyiv time.

Working languages: Ukrainian, English (simultaneous translation).

The event will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Razumkov Centre.
