International Conference "Transatlantic Security and the Role of Ukraine"

On June 12, 2026, the Co-Director of Foreign Policy and International Security Programmes at Razumkov Centre M. Pashkov took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Transatlantic Security and the Role of Ukraine", organized by the Department of International Relations of the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic" within the framework of the Jean Monnet project in cooperation with the Alliance of European Universities.

Pashkov delivered a report "Strategic Autonomy and Defence Self-Sufficiency of the EU: Challenges and Prospects". The report outlined the processes and trends of strengthening the EU's military potential, including implementation of a package of EU security programmes and projects in the context of growing geopolitical turbulence and global economic instability. Special attention was paid to the progress and prospects of Ukraine's integration in the EU, development of partnerships between the Ukrainian defence industry and its European counterparts, and search for joint responses to present-day challenges and threats.
