Razumkov Centre invites you to the presentation of the Ukrainian edition of the SIPRI Yearbook 2022: Armaments, Disarmament and International Security, and the Summary of the SIPRI Yearbook 2023, which will be organized on November 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., jointly with the School for Policy Analysis of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", with subsequent discussion of the materials of these publications:

  • Armed conflicts and their settlement
  • Military expenditures and armaments
  • Non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament


Speakers:

Mykola Sungurovskyi — Razumkov Center military programs director;

Leonid Polyakov — Adviser to the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies;

Mykhailo Samus — Director of the New Geopolitics Research Network;

Maksym Yakovlev — Director of the School for Policy Analytics and Head of the Department of International Relations of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences.


Moderator:

Oleksiy Melnyk — Co-director of Foreign Policy and international security programmes at Razumkov Centre.


The discussion will be held online (by Zoom). Those willing to participate are invited to register using the link.

The working language is Ukrainian.

The Yearbook has been published by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) since 1969, and today it is recognized as one of the most reputable sources of information in the field of international security. It is translated from English into the Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Japanese and Ukrainian languages.

The Ukrainian edition of the SIPRI Yearbook has been published by Razumkov Centre since 2000 with the financial support of the Government of Switzerland and distributed free of charge to central authorities, leading universities and public libraries. The electronic version of the SIPRI Yearbook can be found on the website of Razumkov Centre.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) is an independent international institute for the study of conflicts, weapons, arms control and disarmament.
