On June 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., Razumkov Centre together with the Department of Constitutional Law of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University will hold an International Round Table "The Constitution of Ukraine in Defence of Democracy, Human Rights, Sovereignty, and Territorial Integrity in the Conditions of Russian Aggression" (in a mixed format).
Ukrainian constitutionalists, authors of the Constitution of Ukraine, state and public figures, as well as invited European lawyers will make presentations at the round table.
The following issues are planned to be discussed during the event:
- peculiarities of observance of basic constitutional values in wartime;
- problems of implementation of the so-called "constitutional provisions on defence and security";
- the state of legal protection of the Constitution of Ukraine;
- problems of preserving the democratic foundations of public life in Ukraine;
- exercise of the constitutional right to elect and be elected, etc. after the war.
