They can replace up to 15% of Russian gas: Omelchenko named the alternative regions

One of the important issues for Ukraine today is the search for alternative regions that can supply natural gas. We are talking, in particular, about the United States, as well as the countries of Africa and the Middle East.

It is noted that the key suppliers are Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia – traditional sources of gas supplies for Italy. In addition, there are large reserves of natural gas in Israel. Volodymyr Omelchenko, director of the Razumkov Centre’s Energy Programmes, spoke with Channel 24 on these issues.
