On March 21, 2025, the Director of Energy and Infrastructure Programmes of Razumkov Centre Volodymyr Omelchenko took part in a meeting of the Commission's Working Group dealing with the financial and economic activities of NEC Ukrenergo.
Opening the meeting, the Commission Chairman Oleksiy Kucherenko noted that the Commission followed the principles of impartiality and professionalism in its work and continued to study global problems that had arisen in the energy sector. He emphasized the need for a more detailed analysis of the financial report in order to identify possible violations.
The participants separately raised the topic of the 2022 blackout, analyzing the company's reaction and readiness for such scenarios. However, due to the restricted character of some information, they decided to consider this issue behind closed doors.
