On November 8, 2024, a guest lecture-workshop "The Constitution of Ukraine in the conditions of war" was delivered at the Vasyl Stefanyk Educational and Scientific Law Institute of the Precarpathian National University by the Razumkov Centre research fellow on legal issues, a retired judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Doctor of Law Petro Stetsiuk.
The author presented to the future lawyers his view of the general legal character of the Constitution of Ukraine as the Basic Law of the state, the "impact" of the Russian war on it, and the problems of implementing a number of constitutional provisions under martial law.
Particular attention was paid to the specificity of implementation of the constitutionally provided strategic trajectory of Ukraine towards full membership in the EU and NATO in the conditions of war.
At the end of the lecture, the students asked questions and expressed their opinions on the problem of implementing and protecting the Constitution of Ukraine under martial law.
