Expert discussion "Year's results: achievements, problems and priorities of the Ukrainian diplomacy"

On December 6, 2024, Razumkov Centre and the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, supported by the H. Seidel Foundation, held an expert discussion "Year's results: achievements, problems and priorities of the Ukrainian diplomacy". 

The discussion featured the results of expert polls conducted by Razumkov Centre and the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as part of a project implemented with the support of the H. Seidel Foundation.

The following issues were discussed:

  • Foreign policy results of the year: challenges and opportunities for Ukraine
  • Tasks and priorities of the national diplomacy in 2025
  • Progress and prospects of Ukraine's integration in the EU and NATO

The event was attended by:

Yuriy Yakymenko - Razumkov Centre President,

Andriy Bychenko - Razumkov Centre Sociological Service Director,

Volodymyr Ohryzko - Head of the Centre for Russian Studies, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2009),

Hryhoriy Perepelytsia - Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies,

Mykhailo Pashkov - Co-Director of Foreign Policy and International Security Programmes at Razumkov Centre,

Serhii Dzherdzh - Head of the Ukraine-NATO All-Ukrainian Civic League, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine,

Ihor Zhdanov - Head of the Open Policy Foundation, former Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine (2014–2019).

Representatives of governmental bodies, public organizations, scholars and foreign policy experts were invited to take part.
