On December 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Razumkov Centre will hold an expert discussion "Civic education in Ukraine: current state, priorities and prospects of development."
The discussion will see presentation of informational and analytical materials of Razumkov Centre, prepared as part of the project "Current state, priorities and development prospects of the system of civic education in Ukraine" supported by Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine. The materials, in particular, contain the results of nationwide and expert polls conducted by Razumkov Centre in October–November 2023.
Government officials, politicians, scholars and experts, representatives of public associations, international projects and diplomatic missions are invited to take part in the discussion.
The following issues are to be discussed:
- Progress of creation of a comprehensive system of civic education in Ukraine (also involving the adult population), its most important aspects and priorities in wartime;
- Changes in the regulatory framework of civic education that took place in 2021–2023: achievements, problems, prospects of further development;
- Institutional support for the formulation and implementation of the state policy in the field of civic education: challenges and necessary steps.
The working language of the event is Ukrainian.
