On March 17, 2024, Razumkov Centre research fellow on legal issues, retired judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Petro Stetsiuk delivered a public online lecture "Constitution and War" for youths and war veterans.
The listeners were offered an overview of the foreign and domestic experience of "coexistence" of "national constitutions" and "wars" in the past, peculiarities of application of the Constitution of Ukraine under martial law, the "impact" of the war on the Constitution of Ukraine and possible scenarios of development of the Basic Law of the State after the war end.
The participants of the event had an opportunity to ask questions and exchange opinions on the subject.
The event was organised by the Public Organisation "Be Informed" as part of the "Stay on Top: Democracy" project, supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
