Presentation of Razumkov Centre's Annual Report "Ukraine 2019–2020: Broad Opportunities, Contradictory Results" in Brussels

On March 4, 2020 the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels, in cooperation with the Mission of Canada to the European Union and with the support of the EU, has organized a panel discussion on reforms in Ukraine in the context of the launch of the Razumkov Centre’s annual report “Ukraine 2019–2020: Broad Opportunities, Contradictory Results”.

The event was opened by Robert Sinclair, Deputy Head of the Mission of Canada to the European Union, and H.E. Mykola Tochytskyi, Ambassador of Ukraine to the European Union.

Deputy Director General of the Razumkov Centre Dr. Yuriy Yakymenko has delivered a presentation, concerning key accomplishments and shortcomings of the new Ukrainian government in different spheres, and forecasts for the future.

Distinquished speakers such as Peter Wagner, Head of the Support Group for Ukraine of the European Commission, and Amanda Paul, Senior Policy Analyst in the European Policy Centre presented their views on developments in Ukraine and stressed the importance of new government`s commitment to European integration. Panel discussion has been moderated by Olena Carbou, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels.

The conference has been attended by the EU officials, diplomats, experts, journalists and the wider public interested in Ukraine’s developments.
