Issues for discussion. "Energy Power Bank", "European Gas Reserve", "Energy Bridge" are the names of projects of various scales that were presented in different years, but never implemented. Which of these projects is realistic, and how can it be implemented in the short term?
On June 6, 2023, the Director of Energy and Infrastructure Programmes of Razumkov Centre V. Omelchenko took part in the expert discussion as a speaker. In his speech, V. Omelchenko, in particular, noted the need to use idle compressor stations of the Ukrainian GTS for flexible electricity generation. He also emphasized that when planning the GTS development, it is expedient to take into account the main European trend — the "green" transition to a carbon-neutral economy by 2050.
