The passions around the Ukrainian educational law have a political nature

October 26, 2017

The passions around the Ukrainian educational law have a political nature. Expert on foreign relations and international security programs at the Razumkov Centre Viacheslav Holub commented to the “Ukrradio”. According to him, this is especially noticeable on the example of Hungary, which is preparing for the parliamentary elections.

“The struggle for voters, in particular for Hungarians living in Ukraine inspires Hungarian local politicians to politicize the educational law issue”, — said Viacheslav Holub. Once elections are held, the sharpness of this issue will be leveled out, — predicts Viacheslav Holub. This situation can also be affected by the positive conclusions of the Venice Commission.
